Pachy Méndez was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. After a very successful modeling career, she then joined television.
Her energetic and outgoing personality helped her land some important roles in music videos, short films and TV shows, such as “Al Filo De la Vida” by Miky Breton, “Grandes Series Dominicanas” by Alfonso Rodriguez and “Paraiso” from TVE International. She played the role of Emma in the highly rated Soap Opera “Apasionados” from Antena Latina.
Her passion for acting, has led her to perform in the theater including “Hamlet” as Gertrudis, directed by Diego Aramburo, “Bolo Francisco”, directed by Claudio Rivero and “Enamoradas” by Mery Collado, among many others. Furthermore, Pachy has an extensive film resume having worked in local as well as international films; some of her credits are “Foreing Affairs” from HBO, “Blancas Mentiras” by Armando Guareño, “Operación Patakon” from Nekerman, “Ladrones a Domicilio” with Ángel Muñiz, “Calle 40” from Incines, “Los Cuentos De Juan Bosch” with Felix German and Peyi Guzman, “La Soga” starring Many Perez and directed by Josh Cook, “El Gallo” directed by Juan Fernández, “El Rey De Najayo” directed by Fernando Báez, “Lotoman 2.0” by Archie López, “Biodegradable” by Juan Basanta, “Algun Lugar” by Guillermo Zouain, “Ponchao” directed by Josh Cook and the short film “Al otro lado Del horizonte” by Alfonso Peña, which was awarded best screenplay by the prestigious Funglode Film Festival in 2013.
